Cinemart Roppongi

I realize that the first thing on your mind when coming to Tokyo is probably not to try to catch films from other Asian countries, but if you are a big fan of Asian cinema, then you might want to give the newly opened Cinemart Roppongi (3-8-15 Roppongi, 03-5413-7711) a visit. Specializing in films from Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and China, it does so with four screens, and also acts as an event space, gallery, and of course includes a retail space with merchandise and films aplenty for sale. If you're in town now, you can catch the Hanryu Cinema Festival (until April 7), showcasing the latest hits from South Korea.
