Knock-off Shoppers Paradise

If you think a good fake can be a great deal, Shanghai's Xiangyang Market is your Mecca in Asia. The knockoff bags (particularly the wide variety of LV ones) are incredibly good, and the prices are even better.

Fake LV/Chanel/Dior/miu miu handbags are about $20 or less, fake Ray-Ban/Oakley sunglasses are $10, fake Gucci/Rolex watches around $15. And then there are CDs and DVDs by the cartload, all of them for under a dollar.

My advice: bring a little valium along. I became a little hostile after having my arm grabbed by about 25 near-crazed vendors screaming, "Hello Mister! DVD, CD, Rolex! Follow me!" But it's great, really.
