Wolf Parade in Germany

Tuesday, September 5, 2006

0wolvesssss.jpgThe Deutsche Guggenheim presents an exhibit by Chinese artist Cai Guo-Qiang entitled "Head On." The three-part exhibit's most prominent feature is this stream of wolves captured mid-flight on their way to violent collision with a glass wall. Don't worry: No wolves were harmed in the making of this exhibtiion. The 99 life-sized wolf replicas, manufactured in the artist's hometown of Quanzhou, are made out of sheepskin, plastic and wire. Talk about wolf in sheep's clothing. The exhibit runs through October 15th at the Sammlung Deutsche Bank.
